Inside Palazzo Paternò, a splendid eighteenth-century location in Caserta on January 28, a meeting-event was held which brought together approximately 190 young friends who are members of the various Rotaract clubs in Campania.
The meeting program aimed to present the Gocce d’Amore Association for the children of Africa, and to raise funds for the construction of a new soccer field in the village of Jambiani, on the island of Zanibar.
In addition to the founder, Giovanni Trotta, Diana Notari and some members and volunteers, Catia Colameo, Giuseppe Di Cerbo and Federica Crispino were invited.
The reasons that had motivated the birth of the association back in 2007 were illustrated by the founder, followed by a speech with slides by the Vice President and the President in closing, in front of an attentive and motivated audience.
We sincerely thank the promoter of this initiative Alfonso Toraldo and all the Rotaract representatives present who, with their members, have had the merit of the success of this noble initiative.
We post the founder's speech and will post some photos of the event as soon as possible.
