For technical reasons we have not provided you with information about the last period spent in Zanzibar in the villages where we are present.
The presence of two new volunteers ARIANNA and ANTONIO was very welcome and they happily participated in the visits to the various kindergartens, talking to the many children and teachers, verifying the state of use, which was quite careful on the part of the latter.

We also visited the MJUNI nursery school under construction where the works, thanks also to the contribution of ROTARACT led by our friend Alfonso Toraldo, were almost finished and the children and teachers, temporarily hosted in a small site, welcomed us happy to have met us and thanked us eager to occupy their new structure.

We will make good use of the many suggestions received and their collaboration… getting our hands and feet dirty… on the sports field… participating in the collection of data necessary for our association's commitment to the project for the construction and preparation of the lateral tracks for athletic use.

The penultimate day spent in the village of UNGUJA together with the volunteer doctors of ZOP (ELENA PROJECT) was wonderful, where ARIANNA and ANTONIO participated emotionally in the organizational work of no small importance carried out, but also with the closeness to the many operators and doctors for the affectionate care dedicated to over three hundred people, including adults and children.

The visit will be remembered for a deluge… almost universal… that hit the island and us too… many hours before and during our arrival at the airport for boarding.
