On November 16, 2019, the second meeting of volunteers was held at the Hotel Terminus in Naples.
Over 30 people were present, including old and new volunteers, and some members.
The topics covered according to the program, saw the intervention of the President, of Catia, events manager, with the presentation of the end of year gadgets, of Shata and Josephine on some topics relating to our search for medicines for the Mobile Camp program, the presentation by Federico of a beautiful film containing the interviews conducted during his stay in Zanzibar with other volunteers, and finally of Marco the IT technician who collaborates with our association.
There have been many discussions and clarifications on the planning of the sale of gadgets, on the possibility for pharmaceutical companies to freely supply the medicines produced and on the search for an ever better and more effective presence on the communication channels of the work carried out by our association.
After returning from the working breakfast, the group of volunteers discussed how to best interpret their role within the association by developing schemes and theories that will be discussed and agreed upon at the next meeting.
Lots of work on events, especially interesting is the Elena D’Amanzo Project and on projects to be activated during the next trip in March to the nurseries in Zanzibar.
Many ideas that demonstrate the great attention of the volunteers present and their will to improve and improve themselves, because thanks to their interventions the children can truly become a "future investment" for their parents and for the village.
