On Sunday 7 April 2019, a meeting of all volunteers took place in Rome at the Salesian Institute located near Termini station.
The meeting, which started at 11:00 am, was attended by over 15 people.
Interesting interventions filled the first half of the available time, these concerned different topics concerning:
-Better interaction between groups on the methods of participation, possibly to be agreed upon in advance to obtain a greater number of attendees.
-To make known the purposes of the volunteer meetings held to identify projects that can be implemented in kindergartens with the involvement of children and teachers, specifying that our association does not only deal with the journey but that this represents the ultimate goal after a joint journey.
-It is established that these meetings for the year 2019 will be two; one held in April and one in June. Failure to participate in these meetings may preclude the volunteer from being included in the list of future departures.
-The volunteers present propose the first meeting in SALERNO at the association headquarters on 19 or 26 May while the second date for the second meeting in TELESE lasting two days with an overnight stay on 22-23 June 2019.
After a lunch break, from the resumption until 5pm the volunteers discussed various topics:
travel reimbursement, reading of questionnaires, better consultation and functional visibility of the site and the secretary made aware of the resolutions made by the board of directors and the opportunity to be involved in the charitable initiative of selling Easter eggs, an event curated by Francesca who illustrates the contents and purposes.
Francesca also informs that she has organized an event in Torre del Greco on May 12, 2019 at the TEATRO CORALLO where a theater company will donate part of the proceeds from ticket sales to our association. We hope that the event will be publicized and will see the presence of many members.
