Hello everyone, we are happy to invite you to the fourth edition of *Insieme in Passerella* on May 6th at the Salerno Maritime Station. At the event (which we are partnering with), the wonderful creations of Imama, made this winter in Zanzibar, will also be showcased. The event is free to attend, but those who wish to follow the fashion show more closely with a guaranteed seat will be guests of Gocce D'Amore. Just send me the name via WhatsApp. This is a very important moment to strengthen our presence in the area, promote Imama, and raise awareness on the theme of diversity. We look forward to seeing you!
Imama Project
Malkia is a women's cooperative founded in 2003 in Bwejuu, on the east coast of Zanzibar Island.
In collaboration with the non-profit organization Gocce d'Amore for the Children of Africa – an association that operates on the island of Zanzibar, promoting and funding the construction, maintenance, and recreational support of twelve kindergartens and their villages – we have brought a wonderful project to life.
Gocce d'Amore, active in Zanzibar for fifteen years, envisioned that a project focused on female entrepreneurship and labor inclusion could be a new horizon for the island's communities. They then invited us to fly to Zanzibar to meet the women of Malkia and start dancing together!
The Hope Couture Imama project in Zanzibar promotes the development of income-generating activities for the Malkia cooperative, which has been entrusted with the production of the Imama Summer 2023 collection.
Additionally, together with the Gocce d'Amore team, we will identify a project to support with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Imama creations, aimed at supporting education in Zanzibar.

An explosion of colors and energy!
Yesterday, at the Zaha Hadid Maritime Station, during the IV edition of "Insieme in Passerella," models with various disabilities showcased some of the wonderful creations developed this past winter in Zanzibar through the collaboration between the non-profit brand Imama and Gocce d’amore Onlus.
Fashion can be a powerful generator of opportunities and Imama with the Hope Couture project demonstrates this, managing to raise to the maximum power the message that the Rotaract Club Campus Salerno dei Due Principati has decided to launch: beauty does not fear diversity.
A special thanks goes to Vincenzo Maria Adinolfi, who, on an evening in late January, embraced without hesitation the proposal to showcase Imama's creations in our city.
