Upon returning from the trip, on Sunday 19 March, I was invited to a birthday party for a friend, a friendship of over fifty years that I did not want to and could not miss.
Vittorio Sanseverino celebrated his eightieth birthday surrounded by the joy and happiness of his wife, his son-in-law's children and his beautiful granddaughters.
Old friends from school and from his past youth could not be missed, the many relatives who came from Brazil, and the many affectionate friends, colleagues and collaborators who spent their working days at his side.
Over one hundred and twenty people celebrated him with love and sympathy, a spontaneous love and sympathy deserved and recognized also for his many interventions in favor of those who ask for help.
Vittorio, his wife Gloria, his son Walter, his daughter Chiara, together with his son-in-law Andrea and his granddaughters, wanted to once again demonstrate their sensitivity to helping those in need and, by giving up receiving the usual ritual gifts, invited the guests present to donate an offering of their own, which as supporters they had been donating for a long time to the Gocce d’Amore association to fill the resources necessary for the management of the over 900 children hosted in the ten kindergartens built in Zanzibar.
On behalf of myself, the entire board of directors and the many members who had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know them, a warm and sincere thank you.
