Updates on the Elena D'Amanzo Project – Medical Visits and Mobile Clinic Camp

Jan 8, 2020

As part of the “Elena D’Amanzo project” on 15 – 16 – 17 January 2020, the group of “Zanzibar outreach program”, a medical association that collaborates with Gocce d’amore, will bring 160 children from various kindergartens to a hospital medical facility to subject them to specialist ENT visits deemed necessary and indispensable after the two visits carried out in kindergartens to over 1200 children in the past year.
On January 18, the “Zanzibar outreach program” group will be hosted in the outdoor space of the Uzi nursery school and will make available to the entire village a “mobile camp” made up of approximately 41 operators, carrying out free medical visits to all those who request them.
To follow these important events it seemed right to involve some of our volunteers who will be in the villages of Zanzibar from 14 to 19 January, giving us the opportunity to be involved, even if far away, with their stories and images.
We remind you that the “Elena – mobile camp project” involves eight different villages visited during 2020. The inhabitants of the villages involved will thus be able to take note that there is a minimum of health prevention and that this can only bring greater personal and family safety and serenity.
Thanks for the help of the many friends who follow us.
